Need a hand getting your logs to our sawmill? No problem. We’ll be happy to come load up your logs and transport them from your site over to our sawmill.
LUMBER CURING AND STORAGE
The storing and curing conditions are critical for your lumber to dry straight, flat, and uniformly.
Our CURING KIT will promote optimal drying conditions
• Moisture Barrier (Promotes ideal drying conditions)
• Cinder Blocks (so no lumber touches the ground beneath)
• Dunnage (6×6 beams to support lumber on top of bocks)
• Stickers (spacers used for spacing between layers of lumber)
• Shade Cloth (to act as a UV/Weather barrier, allowing airflow)
• Metal Roofing (to cover your stack of freshly sawn lumber)
